Who are we?
We are Cascades residents, former residents and non-residents who enjoy and promote all phases and aspects of Railroad History, Folklore, Engineering, Operations and Model Railroading.
We are an educational organization whose members and non-members can learn about the various technical aspects of railroading as well as a social organization.
We are a social organization whose members can meet and enjoy the company of other members who have the same or similar interests in railroading.
We are a non-profit organization and shall comply with all requirements of a 501(c)(3) organization.
Why join Cascades Train Club?

- You worked for a railroad.
- You worked for a rolling stock manufacturer.
- You made parts for railroad rolling stock manufacturers.
- You worked in a toy store.
- You commute by heavy or light rail.
- You remember riding on your father’s magic carpet made of steel.
- You played with doll houses or other miniatures.
- You are looking for an outlet for your artistic talents.
- You would enjoy having lunch once a month at Caddy Shack with a bunch of old guys, oh, sorry, a group of elderly ladies and gentlemen.
- You are looking for a way to get your spouse out of the house for a couple of Friday afternoons a month, send her or him to our meetings.
